Virtual Bookkeeper Service: FAQs
When you initially sign up for the Virtual Bookkeeper Service, you qualify for a service tier based on the number of transactions your business had during the last month for all financial accounts. If the amount of transactions rises above or falls below the threshold of another service tier for two consecutive months, your service tier is automatically adjusted. No - you may cancel your service anytime. After you notify us of your intent to cancel, we will stop the service immediately and send you your final invoice for the month during which you cancel. We do not prorate the monthly fee for the bookkeeping services.
Yes - client satisfaction is our top priority. If at anytime you feel dissatisfied with our service, you may cancel and we will refund you the last three month's fees for the Virtual Bookkeeper Service (including the startup fee, where applicable).
Yes - you do not need to start a new QuickBooks Online account for your company. Rather, we will transfer your QuickBooks Online subscription into our wholesale billing arrangement with Intuit, after which you'll no longer be billed by Intuit for your QuickBooks Online subscription. Note: the Virtual Bookkeeper Service is not available for the Simple Start edition of QuickBooks Online. If you have an active or trial subscription for QuickBooks Online Simple Start, you must upgrade to either the Essentials or Plus edition of QuickBooks Online before using our Virtual Bookkeeper Service.
Innovate Professional Services will bill you on the last day of each month, beginning with the month you sign up for our Virtual Bookkeeper Service. Payment is due 15 days after the date of each bill. You also have the option to to automatically pay your Virtual Bookkeeper Service fees using a credit card or ACH transfer.
Yes - we are happy to assist you with the bookkeeping for transactions that occurred before you sign up for our Virtual Bookkeeper Service. We will charge you for this additional service on a per-hour basis at the same hourly rate as our current DIY Cloud Accounting plan's Bookkeeping Hourly Service rate. If you exceed the maximum transactions for your service tier in a single month, your service tier plan will not change. On the other hand, if your business exceeds the maximum number of transactions for your service tier for two consecutive months, we will upgrade you to the next service tier level for the next month and will notify you of the change. If you do not want to be upgraded to the next service tier level, you may cancel the service.
Absolutely not - your accounting and documents belong to you, not us! If you cancel your Virtual Bookkeeper Service, you will have the option to continue your QuickBooks Online subscription via our DIY Cloud Accounting plans. You also may assume direct billing responsibility for your QuickBooks Online and Hubdoc subscriptions, but note that you will then be subject to the standard retail pricing of the service providers.
